This number showed up as a missed call on my phone, so I decided to ring back. A guy with a Scottish accent picked up and when I mentioned I’d missed a call from him, he said he’d actually missed a call from me and was just returning it. I told him I hadn’t dialled anyone today, but he was sure he got a call from me. When I asked for his name, he asked me who I was instead. I tried to get some answers by saying, “You called me, so I’m asking you,” then he just abruptly ended the call. Proper odd encounter.
