11 monthsA scammer claiming to represent AK Recruitment (Damien) contacted me and asked for my email, which raised a red flag, as any recruiter should already have it if I had applied for a role. His email came from a domain not linked to AK Recruitment. Damien followed up with excessive urgency within minutes, a pressure tactic. I called AK Recruitment - they confirmed they have no one named Damien working there. He asked for personal information that a recruiter wouldn't request. He wanted to schedule a call, but once I didn't respond to the email, I was blocked. There is no LinkedIn presence at all, which is unusual for a recruiter.
