Got a call on my TPS-registered landline with a robo-voice saying they were from some bank service but never said which bank. They claimed there were two transactions on my account: one for £199 supposedly from Amazon and another over £800. I've never shopped on those sites with that account before, so I ended the call to check the number out. Honestly, the amounts they mentioned could make anyone freak out, but they didn’t call from the number my bank uses, didn’t ask for any passwords, and gave zero info that actually identified me or my account.
