Today I got one of those robotic calls claiming to be from TalkTalk saying my broadband would be cut off unless I press 1 to talk to someone. Seems a bit dodgy to me, so I guess my internet isn’t actually going anywhere today?

Some woman called saying she was with BT and warned my phone line was going to be cut off because it wasn’t secure. She said my IP had been hacked and they needed to fix it to keep it safe. Felt really dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone pretending to be BT, warning me my internet would be cut off. When I asked to speak to a manager, the person just hung up straight away.

Got a voicemail claiming to be from Talktalk saying my internet's about to get cut off! It asked me to press 1 which I didn’t do, obviously a total scam. I’m guessing it’s linked to that recent Talktalk data leak? Anyway, I’ve blocked the number and reported it immediately.

Got a call from someone named Ray claiming to be from BT saying they’d been watching my internet usage and noticed some dodgy stuff happening whenever I log on. He offered to help sort it out and wanted to know what gadgets I had hooked up. I told him, “If you’re watching remotely, surely you’d know that already.” Then he just ended the call. Bit cheeky if you ask me.
