This sounds so familiar because I experienced something similar once. I got this really believable voicemail saying there’d been some dodgy transactions on my debit card - apparently someone bought an Amazon gift card and took out a big sum of cash. At first, I rang them back, but my alarm bells rang when they started asking for my bank info. I ended up heading straight to my bank, who said it’s a widespread scam these days. It’s quite dodgy and can easily catch people out, especially those who aren’t as careful.
