A couple of days back, I got a message from someone claiming to be 'PayPal' saying there was a login attempt from a new device on my account, with a link to "secure" it. Thing is, I don’t even have a PayPal account, so it was obviously a dodgy message. If you ever get one like this, don’t go near the link. Just block the sender and report it as a scam. So, on the 2nd of January 2021, I got a couple of texts claiming to be from PayPal, saying some new gadget had logged into my PayPal account. They sent a link telling me to reset my account. Naturally, I didn’t click it and instead checked my account through the actual PayPal app, and everything was fine. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me. Stay clear of those links!
