I got a text from someone pretending to be O2 about a problem with a payment and it had this suspicious link. Since I don’t actually use O2, I just blocked the number straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam.

I'm pretty sure this is some kind of scam. I've been paying my bill every month without fail, so this number claiming to be from 02 is dodgy. Definitely avoid clicking on any links they send through.
