The simplest approach would be to reach out to the individual involved and ask for assistance from undercover officers. When it comes to a pay-as-you-go mobile, akin to an off-the-shelf SIM card, your chances of tracking down that number are just as slim as trying to spot Father Christmas on the 25th of December!

Reaching out to the police was the simplest option available. When the individual making the call is using a pay-as-you-go mobile, essentially just a SIM card bought at a shop, your chances of tracking down the caller are pretty much as slim as trying to spot Father Christmas on Christmas Eve.
