Got one of those annoying prerecorded calls today saying my credit card was charged a huge sum, clearly trying to scare me. No doubt it’s a total scam!

I got a call from folks pretending to be from Amazon, saying my Amazon Prime subscription had run out and that I owed £95. They didn’t even bother to say my name, which is a dead giveaway they have no clue who they’re ringing. I reckon this number’s dodgy; if you ring back thinking it’s really Amazon, you might end up giving away info that could be used to steal your cash or personal details.

Got a call from some robot voice doing an internet scam, just hang up and dont bother replying.

Somebody called saying they were from Microsoft, saying my computer was hacked. They wanted me to be in front of the screen and asked what was on my desk. When I told them the keyboard was right in front of the screen, they just hung up. Definitely a scam to get into your computer.
