Rang me four times in total, but each time they just disconnected without saying a word. Quite peculiar, really!

I got a call from a man with a really strong accent claiming to be from British international banking or something like that. I had a hard time understanding him. When I said he didn’t sound very British, he got a bit rude and quickly brought up PPI before hanging up. This number has called me multiple times just last week.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from some refund department about PPI. When I asked what company they were supposedly refunding me from, he couldn’t name one. Honestly, come on, just try to sound a bit professional! Proper waste of time, total scammers!

Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, saying he was sorting out a refund from some loan I supposedly had with Lloyds back in 1995. Thing is, I've never taken out any loan or even had an account with Lloyds. When I told him that, he started calling me nuts. I shot back that he was the one off his rocker and just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she wants to refund my loan. Then some bloke came on the line. When I asked for their information, they just hung up on me.

I got a call from someone with a strong foreign accent. When I mentioned my number, they suddenly told me to "Shut up" and just ended the call. It was pretty scary and made me feel uneasy.

Told him I already had mine done and wasn’t interested. Ended the call pretty quick. Felt a bit dodgy since he rang from a mobile number - not typically how a government office would get in touch, right?

No idea who that was. They didn’t say a word, just kept breathing really heavily right into the phone, and then suddenly ended the call!

So, this number was ringing me about replacement boilers through some government plan. The scheme itself is genuine - I've actually got my boiler swapped out by it already. Still, I've flagged this number with TPS since my phone’s on their list and they really ought not to be calling me.

Some bloke called saying he was from "the government grants department" and told me I could get a free boiler. When I asked for a website to check it out, he couldn’t provide one. I then asked why a proper government department would be calling from an EE mobile number, and he suddenly got quite rude and just ended the call. I reckon it’s a scam, so don’t hand over any of your details!
