Totally a scam. Got a call with some automated female voice claiming it was HMRC, warning me about prosecution. The weird thing was the voice had a American accent, which makes no sense for a UK government call - kinda lazy if you ask me. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone, so I pressed it just to see what happens. When a bloke answered I just told him they should put in more effort and lose that obvious American robotic voice. Then I just ended the call.
