just a bit of advice from someone who used to work in a ppi call centre (i was only inbound) we never did cold calls. if you pick up and it’s about debt, say you’ve already done an IVA or went bankrupt and they should put the phone down before you do. BUT honestly, don’t even answer at all cos that just proves your number is active and they’ll keep ringing you nonstop.

This number has been ringing me daily for the last three weeks, sometimes as many as 11 times in a day. I finally picked up today, and they told me I was late on my credit card payments and offered to help me clear the debt. “Thanks, but I don’t have a credit card,” I said. Proper muppets.

According to this “Gavin”, I’ve got loads of unpaid debt messing up my credit score. When he asked if I had any problems, I said yeah, I have too much money and no clue how to spend it. I even offered to send him a present but we got disconnected before he could reply, what a pity. :-(

Just got a call from the same bloke from India, saying there’s some unpaid loan messing with my credit score. I asked, “Can you be more specific?” He said “Credit card and loan.” I asked again, “Which one exactly?” and he stuck with “Credit card and loan.” So I kept pressing, “Yeah sure, but which one?” Eventually he mustve caught on I was messing about and just hung up. It’s brilliant winding them up with questions they can’t answer. By the way, I owe nothing, no loans or debts at all.
