Got a call from someone claiming to be Nationwide Bank, saying there was an attempt to use my card. They asked if I knew my account balance and if I had online banking set up. When I said I wasn’t sure about my balance and didn’t use online banking, they just hung up on me.

This call was definitely a scam. They claimed to be from a shop or company and tried to get me to confirm cancelling a payment. The person on the phone kept pushing me to tell them any of my credit card details I’d used lately just so they could "stop" the payment. It all just felt very dodgy and made no sense whatsoever.
