Some bloke with a foreign accent rang me from this number, saying he was from Amazon support. Apparently, there was a dodgy charge of over £700 on my account - which I knew was nonsense right away. I told him straight up it was a scam and that I’d be ringing Amazon proper customer service. Then he just hung up on me, haha. From the word go, he wasn’t very convincing, never asked if he was speaking to Mrs S or for my name to confirm it was me. Honestly, don’t get caught out by calls like this - they’re just fishing for your personal info, including your bank details. Stay safe!
