I received a rather unsettling message today, supposedly from my bank, claiming that there had been an unauthorised withdrawal from my account. It's patently clear that this is nothing more than a sinister scam attempt. Definitely something to be wary of!

Got a text pretending to be from my bank, but it was a total scam. Do not click on the link or answer back. Best thing to do is forward the message to 7726 and also send an email to the bank’s phishing report address, usually listed on their official site. Stay safe out there!

Got a call claiming to be from my bank about some unauthorised withdrawal, but I don’t even have an account with them. Plus, any real bank would just send a notification through their official mobile app or email, not call out of the blue like that. Seems fishy to me.
