I got a call on my mobile from this number but it hung up before I could pick up. Tried calling back from my home phone, but it just wouldn’t connect. Seems a bit dodgy, could be some kind of scam?

Got a call earlier from some woman’s voice, sounded like a robot, telling me it was Amazon. She said they’d spotted a dodgy transaction on my card connected to my Amazon account for £799. Then she gave a reference number, said because it looked suspicious they’d stopped the purchase. Asked me to press “1” if I wanted to chat to someone from Amazon. Of course, I hung up and gave them "1" on a different number they'd called from before. Total scam!
