Got a message from this number claiming I've won £500 in cash, along with an iPod and other goodies. They want me to call 0042366292365. Sounds like an absolute scam to me!

I received a text message that declared: "Congratulations! You're a WINNER!" It urged me to call immediately to claim a guaranteed reward of £500 in cash, along with an iPod and various other goodies. The number provided was 00423662902364. Naturally, I chose not to call, as it seemed far too good to be true. It's quite alarming how some individuals resort to these SMS scams to trick unsuspecting folks.

We've received the same message twice: "Congratulations, you're a winner! Call now to claim your guaranteed prize - £500 in cash, an iPod, and more!" Both messages came from different callback numbers (one ending in 5) - 00423662902365, and used two separate caller IDs: 07944339070 and 07944338713. It appears that the country code for the callback number might be either Liechtenstein or the Czech Republic. We're puzzled as to why we're receiving messages from such distant locales and why these individuals keep switching their phone numbers. Sounds a bit dodgy to us!

We received a text message claiming we've bagged a £500 prize. It seems rather suspect, and we suspect the sender is fishing for a reply, probably to a premium rate number.
