Got yet another silent call today, probably just some sneaky trick to gather info for their records. The number looks totally legit, like a mobile, but as soon as you pick up, dead silence before it hangs up. Honestly, the smartest move is to stay quiet if you do happen to answer because sometimes they wait for you to say something so their AI bot can jump in. Just block the number straight away and steer clear. If it was important, they’d leave a message instead. Total con artists, if you ask me.

Strange call that one. The person claimed to be from the National Debt Helpline and asked if I could chat. I was pretty polite, but when I mentioned I was just about to get in my car, they ended the call straight away. Gave me a bit of a crank call vibe.

When I rang them back, all I got was dead silence, then a message saying I’d reached the wrong number. Pretty sure it was some kind of scam call.
