I've received communications from a chap named Fred Torres as well. We crossed paths on a dating platform about a year back. He requested that I fill out some leave documents last March and mentioned he was currently stranded in Amsterdam. Moreover, he asked me to send funds to a woman named Sammi over in Australia. We've had our conversations online, but he always seems to claim his camera is on the fritz, hence no video calls. Please, don't be taken in by this individual; he's nothing more than a scam artist.

I've been chatting with this chap who insists he's a sergeant in the US army, currently stationed in Iraq. We’ve had conversations over WhatsApp for more than half a year. Oddly enough, he’d never do a video call, claiming his phone's camera was dreadful. The man was perpetually asking for Steam gift cards; every time I sent him a £20 one, he’d get irate, insisting he needed more! After about three weeks, he proclaimed his everlasting affection for me, and I, feeling rather isolated and flattered by the attention, went along with it. Just last week, he rang me up, saying he wanted to apply for leave to finally meet up. Then, a form landed in my inbox that I was supposed to fill out. Can you believe it? I had to put in a request for his leave! The document looked impressively official, complete with American army insignia. After a few days, I received a response stating his leave was approved, but there was a catch-I had to deposit £1,800 into an account belonging to some woman in Australia! When I pushed him for clarification, he casually mentioned she was their Australian agent??? It’s all utter nonsense! Really, don't fall for his rubbish; it's clearly a massive con. The caller identified himself as Mr Fred Torres.

Fraudulent individual - claims to serve in the American military in Iraq - clearly aiming to con women out of their money.
