I got a recorded message first, saying it was from HMRC and they’d spotted some issues with my tax, asking me to press 1 to chat. I did that, then some bloke with an Indian accent came on, saying thanks for calling HMRC. I told him I hadn’t called them, they called me, and he just hung up. Was kinda hoping it’d be a bit more entertaining!
