Had a call from some automated voice wanting my info to check if i could get a free solar quote, but it cut off right before I got to reply. Seems like just another scam to me.

Got a call from a bloke talking way too fast, mentioned something about a charity or society related to new Government rules making families sell their homes to pay for care homes. Before I could make sense of it, the line went all crackly and glitchy, then weirdly, I heard a bunch of the same guy’s voice overlapping, repeating the same stuff. Ended the call straight away.

It was kinda clever, sounded real at first, but obviously a robot. The replies were all like pre-recorded answers, no actual person on the other end.

Got a call today from an unknown number. Didn’t pick up and they didn't leave any voicemail, so I'm guessing it's probably a scam. Have blocked the number just to be safe.

No voicemail was left by the person who called, so I'm guessing it was some sort of spam. I've now blocked the number.

It seemed pretty polished and kinda believable but was clearly just a robot on the line. They had pre-recorded replies ready to whatever I asked, but there wasn’t a real person at all. The caller said his name was ‘Steven’ and tried to sell me some care home or equity release protection scheme.
