I got a message from this number claiming I owed a fine for a carpark I’d supposedly used. It had a link, and I freaked out and clicked it, thinking it was proper. But it sent me to a dodgy site pretending to be the UK government. You can put in any random car registration and the site tells you that you must pay a penalty immediately or it’ll double. Real parking fines always come from your council or a private firm, and they always send a letter first. I’ve had nothing apart from this text and no idea where or when I supposedly got fined.
