A bloke rang me on my son's phone and when I answered, he asked if I was a mate of my son. I told him I was his mum and said my son passed away on November 1st. Then he asked if I could tell him my son's full name, which felt a bit odd. After that, he accused me of making up the whole death story because he'd apparently spoken to my son just the day before. Honestly, it’s so wrong to treat someone who’s grieving like that and call them a liar. I hope he finds it in himself to apologise one day.
