Got a call from someone saying they’re from the housing disrepair team and they're threatening to take legal action against the council. Pretty stressful stuff!

These lot called me claiming to be a legal firm ready to take on the council over damp and mould issues in my home. I was instantly suspicious it was a dodgy setup, so I played along to see what they’d say next. When I asked for their company registration number to look them up on Companies House, they said they weren’t allowed to share it. Complete rubbish. Ended up blocking them straight away.
