Beware, this number is definitely a scam. They claimed it was about my national insurance being abused, saying someone had stolen my NI number. They also mentioned a suspicious £1000 transaction in my name and said the police would be reaching out soon. The caller kept asking for my postcode, how many bank accounts I hold in the UK, the balance in them, and even how many accounts my husband has. At one point, I asked my husband during the call and he shouted "this is a scam, hang up, scam scam!" The scammer overheard that and immediately ended the call.
