Got a call on my landline from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying £800 had been taken from my bank and telling me to ring them back. They even mentioned something about Zoom. I don’t use Zoom or Amazon and hadn’t contacted my bank at all. I just hung up and called 159 straight away to stop any funny business. I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so there’s no way this wasn’t my number being sold on - I’m pretty sure Virgin Media are behind it again. What a cheeky scam!
