Got a text that claimed to be from Lloyds Bank saying I needed to link a new device, with a link to click if it wasn’t me. This kind of thing is exactly why I avoid mobile banking! Weirdly, the number seemed active but whenever I rang it back from a different phone without showing my number, it just went straight to voicemail!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Hermes, but I wasn't waiting for any package or anything. Bit strange, really.

Got a suspicious text on my phone claiming to be from Hermes about rescheduling a delivery, asking me to click a link. Didn’t tap on it and won’t, because it’s definitely a scam, not Hermes at all. No tracking number provided, which was a big red flag. Be careful out there! PS, the number sending it was 07398721844 (+44).
