Got a text claiming to be from EE about an overdue bill and that my service would be cut off if I didn't click a link to pay. Thing is, I’d just settled my bill moments before, so I knew it was dodgy. Didn’t bother with it, blocked the number, reported it as spam, and deleted the message straight away.

Beware of this one! Got a text supposedly from EE saying there was an issue processing this month's bill and if I didn’t send over my bank info, my service would be cut off. I’d just renewed my contract and bought a phone with EE, so it threw me off for a sec. But the message came from a number I’d never seen before, not the usual EE texting service. I quickly logged into my EE account and saw everything was fine, so I knew it was a scam. Glad I checked before replying!

Received a call that supposedly originated from EE. Although I'm indeed an EE customer and my account is in excellent order, I do recall that the proper contact number for EE is 150. This raises my suspicions and leads me to believe it could be a scam. I did have a go at the link provided, and it indeed directs one to the authentic EE UK website. Regardless, it’s probably wiser to bypass any links and head straight to the EE website yourself to avoid any potential tricks.
