At first, I suspected it was a scam. The message I got looked like it was from SANTANDER.

Just got a message about my account being temporarily locked over some payment problem and telling me to click a link to sort it out. Total scam alert - I’m not even an EE customer!

Just got a call from this number saying it was my bank, telling me they’d locked my accounts on all my devices because someone else logged in. They wanted me to click a link to fix it. It’s total rubbish, a proper scam! If you ever get a call like this, don’t fall for it. Always ring your bank directly if you’re suspicious. Stay safe, folks!

Got a call from someone saying they were from ee who told me to click a link to unlock my account. Total scam, definitely don't do it!

Got a message supposedly from EE saying "Your account is locked because of a problem with payment. Please update your payment details here..." and they included a link. I actually do have EE, but my payments are all sorted with no problems whatsoever! To be safe, just log in directly through your provider’s official website or app if you want to check. Don’t click on those links, it’s definitely a scam!
