I got a call from a number claiming to be Amazon, with an automated voice telling me my card got charged £300. It said to press 1 to talk to someone from Amazon. When I asked the person on the line to take my details off their list because it’s against GDPR, they just hung up. Definitely a scam.

I got a call that sounded like it was from Amazon - an automated voice saying my bank card had been debited £300 and to press 1 to speak to someone at Amazon. As soon as I asked the person on the line to take my number off their list because they were breaking GDPR rules, they just cut me off. Definitely a scam.
