Got a text from 07949 808387 saying they were from Halifax building society. It said a new mobile was added to my account and to click the link if I didn’t authorise it. Never even had an account with Halifax, so I ignored it. Looks like a scam to me.

Got a call from what they said was BT, telling me my broadband would be cut off in 24 hours because some hacking was spotted, and to press 1 if I wanted help. I rang BT directly and they told me it was a scam and they never call people like that. I reported the number so they can look into it.
