I got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming his name was Mike - sounded dodgy to me. He said he was from some “official” company that stops scam calls. I just told him maybe he should try blocking his own number first and then ended the call.

Somebody said they were with BT call blocking but it was so clear it was a dodgy scam. Wouldn't trust it for a second.

Got a call from some scammer pretending to be from loads of different firms. They kept saying we’re already signed up with them and claimed to work with BT, Vodafone, and a bunch of other phone firms that supposedly block calls for us. Total nonsense, just some daft scam trying to get company info. It didn’t add up at all.

I received a phone call around 8.30 on Monday, claiming to be from Ofcom regarding call blocking. The bloke’s accent was pretty hard to understand, so I kept asking him to say things again. After about five minutes of not really getting what he was saying, I just ended the call. Just so you know, my hearing is fine!
