I got a call from an automated voice claiming to be Amazon, warning me about some dodgy payments. So, I tried ringing the number back and it took me a few goes before someone finally answered. It was a woman with quite a Geordie-sounding accent, I think, on the EE network. She was spouting all sorts of rubbish and even said she’d check her list of numbers. Just a heads up to everyone - watch out for these scams and don’t get caught out!
