I got a call from someone calling himself 'Eric' who spoke with a heavy accent. He said he was from BT and needed to verify my internet speed because they were planning upgrades nearby. He asked if I knew my current speed and when I said no, he wanted me to check it on a desktop or laptop. I told him I only have a tablet, which seemed to confuse him, and he said they'd have to check from their side then. I wasn’t comfortable with the call, so I hung up.
