Got a text from "Halifax" saying my card was used on 07-08-2022 at 18:01:53 at Argos for £139.95 but the payment got declined. It asked me to reply YES if it was me or NO if not, and said no need to call. So, I called the number back and some bloke answered all casual like “what up bruv” - sounded super dodgy! I’ve only just been scammed within the last day and these fraudsters keep coming at me. This number’s definitely tied to some scam, so don’t reply to their texts. If you get anything like this, ring your bank immediately and block your card!
