I received a rather suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be a representative of Microsoft. This chap was rather keen on getting me to download a specific application, insinuating that my computer's security had been breached and that he could assist me in resolving the issue. It felt highly dodgy, and I suspect he was trying to gain unauthorised access to my device.

Got a call bright and early at 8am from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, wanting to check my computer. The guy sounded quite pushy and had an Indian accent, then he passed the phone to a lady. I wasn’t having any of it, so I just ended the call and blocked the number right away. The number was 07940324481 - definitely a dodgy mobile scam.

I've been getting this recorded message from all sorts of numbers like 07942682687, 02081757496, 07940324481 and 07942066654 saying I’m at risk of losing my National Insurance number, supposedly from the Bank of England. It’s been happening loads and is proper irritating now. I hope someone actually notices this complaint and manages to sort it out soon.
