Just got a couple of messages saying a new payee has been added to my HSBC account. The thing is, I don’t even have an HSBC account, so it’s got to be some kind of scam. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Just got a call from someone asking about a new payee added to my bank account. I was really confused since I hadn’t set up any new payments. Thankfully, after a quick chat and checking my transactions, it turned out to be a simple misunderstanding. Always pays to be careful and double-check these things, don’t it? Wouldn’t want some dodgy payee popping up without me knowing!

This number called me, saying I was behind on my bills, but it was clearly a scam trying to trick me.
