Got a call from 079 4022 6262 on 30th December 2015, from someone saying they were from J K Courier. First, he confirmed my name, then asked me to verify my address. I told him it was correct, and then I asked for the courier office address. He said he'd text it to me and that I’d have to pick up the parcel from there. Then he just hung up. Tried calling back but the number was no longer in service. Not sure why they needed my address, but this seems suspicious. Hoping the authorities can do something about these sorts of calls.

You should definitely consider reporting this to the police to keep yourself safe. These days, data theft is getting out of hand. It seems like some folks might be using your details for dodgy stuff. There was a case with Rupal Panchal where crooks opened fake demat accounts for an IPO scam using people's identities. Loads of innocent people got caught up and even received warnings from the cops. Just look it up online to see what happened. It’s really best to be cautious and lodge a police report.

This number has called me twice within the last couple of weeks. They keep asking to confirm my address for a supposed parcel delivery - sounds dodgy to me.
