I just found out that this is a Virgin Mobile number. They call you from it to do a survey after you’ve been in touch with Virgin’s customer service.

So I saw that my PAYG credit dropped by 32p out of nowhere. Since I was already having some other problems, I decided to ask Virgin Mobile about it. They told me I had apparently sent 4 texts to a certain number, but I never did and never got any messages either. They did give me a refund but couldn’t explain what actually went wrong. I’m still trying to figure out how to get a clear answer from Virgin Mobile.

I keep getting loads of annoying calls and texts, not only from this number but others too. Mostly they’re from loan firms or debt relief services. This particular one is the most recent. I do shop at places like Create and Craft and Baker Ross, and I’m with Virgin Media. Most of these calls always seem to be after someone called Samantha or Stephanie Wright.

I got a message asking me to do a survey after I rang Virgin Mobile. When I checked, Virgin said it wasn’t their number at all. Still, they ended up refunding me 45p, so that was something I guess.

I’m with Virgin Mobile and got a text from them saying I’d been given 30 free minutes. When I had a question about the offer, I called their customer service. After that call, I got another message from a different number asking me to take a quick three-question survey. I answered each question as it came through, but then I noticed my credit had dropped by 60p even though I hadn’t made any calls or sent texts. I phoned Virgin again to check and they told me I'd actually sent three texts to that unknown number. Virgin later confirmed that number was not theirs and admitted it wasn’t supposed to be linked. Not sure how or why they sent me that survey, but it ended up costing me and Virgin said they’d refund the 60p. Bit of a pointless hassle really.
