I said nothing at first, just listened, and then a nervous young black lady with a British accent started to say she was calling from Indeed regarding a job opportunity. But before I could reply, she cut the call off. The phone line wasn't clear and her voice was barely above a whisper. It made me worry she might be in some kind of trouble, maybe forced into this. Plus, I deleted my Indeed profile ages ago because I kept getting dodgy and scammy job messages on WhatsApp.
