I got a call supposedly from BT saying my internet would be cut off due to some misuse. The bloke had that typical Indian accent and suddenly mentioned that someone else was using my account. He tried to trick me into downloading some spyware and gave me a code to enter. Even though I wasn’t anywhere near my PC, I pretended to follow along just to see what he would do. When he twigged I was messing about, he hung up. Well, at least I managed to waste a good 10 minutes of his scam time that he could have used on someone else.

Got a recorded call about my Amazon account or something like that. I ended it quick before they could go on with their nonsense. I never deal with automated messages and I don’t even have an Amazon account, so you can work out what that means. Told my mate Putin to deal with them - wonder how long they’d put up with that!
