It seemed like one of those call centres from Asia. They said they were from Virgin and that they were sending out a new SIM card. Since I’m a Virgin TV user, I asked where the SIM was meant to be used as I’d never had to do this before. They told me it was for a mobile phone. I said I didn't have Virgin mobile as my provider. Then they asked who I used, I said not Virgin and just ended the call.

I answered with a simple "hello" but got no reply, just a bunch of noise in the background. It felt like they were playing a recorded clip or something, cause it was dead quiet at first and then out of nowhere, loads of noise blared through. Pretty sure it was just a spam call.

The number popped up as spam, so I just ignored it and didn’t answer.

Picked up the phone and could hear loads of people talking like it was some kind of call centre. I asked who it was, and a woman snapped back “no, you can’t” before just hanging up on me. Strange call!
