This number rang me up and there was an automated voice saying there had been suspicious things happening on my "card". It mentioned two transactions, one of which was to Amazon, and said to press 2 if I wanted to cancel them. I just ended the call straight away.

This number rang me up, and a woman with an accent that definitely wasn’t local claimed she was calling from BT Openreach. She said there were problems with my internet security and insisted I needed to fix it urgently. Problem is, I don’t have any BT phone line or internet contract at all. When she asked if I had a pen, paper, and something to get online with, I got the vibe she was gonna guide me into letting her into my PC or something dodgy like that. I started asking her some direct questions and she just cut me off.
