Got a text claiming to be from my bank saying there was a payment attempt on my account. Looks like the start of a proper scam. Shortly after, they rang from a private number pretending to be bank staff, asking if I had any other accounts at risk. Their main goal seemed to be my cryptocurrency. BEWARE of this number - it’s really dodgy. They've even threatened me, saying they know where I live and will come for my money, plus some awful stuff about my mum dying. Totally terrifying.
