I just got a call from this number - this guy with an Asian accent claimed to be from Amazon. He said someone tried to buy a £600 phone on my account last night. I pretended to be interested and asked what name it was under. He stumbled over my name, didn’t seem sure at all. I repeated that someone had tried to use my Amazon account. He agreed. Then I told him that’s weird because I don’t even have an Amazon account, so he should quit scamming and find a proper job. He went quiet for a few seconds, mumbled "oh, okay," and hung up.
