I got a text from this number where someone called me “dad” and said they’d lost their phone and needed me to send money urgently because they’re using a new one. Thing is, I’m a woman and I don’t have any kids! Honestly, it’s awful since lots of folks might fall for this and end up handing over cash.

Yesterday i blocked this number but then got a call from a no id caller. It was some indian bloke who said his name was Usman or something similar. He claimed to be from fsa but when i asked for the company name, he told me it was uk money service advice. Just a heads up to everyone, no matter if you owe money or not, don’t trust calls like this and absolutely don’t share your bank info. I can promise if you block one number, they'll just ring you from a different unknown one.

Got a call from a bloke with a European accent on 07938 536833 who said he got my number from the FCA. When I started asking him questions he couldn’t answer, he started telling me not to boss him around and ended up calling me an idiot. Proper rude and dodgy.

Got a call from some credit support line. They were talking about how the government can help me get out of debt. Seemed a bit off to me.

complete rip off. as soon as we said we had no interest in the call about some credit investigation, the bloke got all hostile and started arguing with us.

Someone called saying they worked for a debt collection agency. I told him I'd be reporting it to the cops, and he just told me to bugger off before hanging up on me.
