This number messaged me saying it was 02 and that my account would be shut down because I hadn’t accepted their terms. I noticed loads of other people are getting the same thing. Don’t click any links they send - if you’re worried, just ring 02 yourself to sort it out.

On Thursday evening, 6th Feb 2025 at about 5.31pm, I got a text on my mobile 07938516932 pretending to be from 02 UK. It said my SIM contract was gonna be cancelled 'cause I hadn’t agreed to their Terms and Conditions. I checked my actual 02 account, and there was nothing about this. Seemed really dodgy to me, couldn't trust it at all.

I got a call that said it was from 02 warning me that my SIM contract would be cancelled since I hadn’t agreed to their Terms and Conditions. They didn’t mention anything about my Tesco account at all. They even dropped a link for me to click on, which felt quite dodgy if you ask me. Not sure who they really were, but definitely seemed fishy.
