Got a call from some recorded voice claiming to be the national crime agency. They said my national insurance was on hold and I was about to get arrested. They wanted me to press 1 to chat with someone. Honestly, I just laughed and ended the call, then blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be debt collectors, but it felt totally fishy - seemed like a scam to me.

someone rang me claiming they were from a government scheme to get my debts cleared and said they wanted to help me sort out my payments. they even said they knew i’d been managing my debts well. then out of nowhere, they asked me how much money i owed. i was like hang on, you just told me loads about me but don’t even know how much i owe? so i just cut the call. total scam, just trying to fish for info. don’t answer or trust them for a sec, it’s all a load of rubbish, scam scam scam!

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from a debt collecting agency, but when I asked who he was, he just went quiet and hung up on me.

Got a call from this number twice within a few minutes. I answered both times but there was nothing but silence before they hung up. Pretty annoying tbh.

I got a call from someone claiming to be a doctor, asking why I missed my appointment. I was totally confused as I had no idea what appointment he meant, so I told him he must have dialled the wrong number. He said sorry and hung up after that.
