This morning at approximately 9:20 AM, I received a call on my mobile from a woman who struggled to speak English. She asked if she was speaking to Shahid Sheikh, and I confirmed. I politely asked for her name and the purpose of the call. She then asked me to speak in English, to which I responded that I was speaking in Hebrew at that moment and asked again if she could clarify who she was and the reason for the call. She repeatedly said she could not understand me. Despite the early hour and the confusion, I remained polite and asked for her name and the reason for contacting me. Instead of providing this information, she became verbally abusive. She told me I was “very annoying,” then used explicit language (“go and f*** yourself”) before disconnecting the call. I would like to formally report this incident. The company should be able to review the call recording, which will clearly show that I remained polite throughout and that the abusive language came from the caller without any provocation. This behaviour is unacceptable and unprofessional, and I request that appropriate action be taken against the individual or the organisation responsible.
