I received a rather peculiar voicemail from what seemed to be a supposed representative of China Mobile, stating that there was some sort of irregularity with my phone number. They urged me to press 9 to connect with a 'customer service' individual, but there was a distinct lack of clarity or any concrete information in their message. Upon being transferred, they then attempted to extract numerous personal details from me, such as my passport BRP. It's clear to me that this is a scam.
